i don't know much about the Islam (or as what they've depicted) religion in the story but was his reaction really over the top?? I'm genuinely curious
i was thinking so too. usually the way to act is just politely decline. but at least the author got some things right XD
i am living in france and I am a muslim myself, I can confirm that the situation is even worse than what you think it is. Two muslim womens were stabbed several times in front of the eiffel tower and this is impossible to find in any french media, this is only an example but they really do portrays us as the bad ones and they purposely hide anything that could show otherwise

well in islam it's a big haram to act disrespectfully to food (no matter how horrible it's )and even if we aare treated baddly we are not allowed to do the same, secondly as a prince you are shapped to be seldom paaitant and wise and thaat's a big must
the author really didn't need to make the Arabian prince act this dramatically .
like it's even haram to act this way .
it's very obvious that the author is lacking in knowledge but i hope they will redeem it next ch
