I was worried about that too! The hate towards woman who are weak in manga is astounding. Like yes I get it, y'all want authors to put in strong characters in a saturated market of weak feable female characters but we can't make too much characters of that type or we won't feel like they are as strong...I guess.

I, like many others, are super happy about strong female leads! But not everyone is like that. Maxi is written in a way that she obviously needs help and support bc she's never received it before. She isn't like some weak FL where they know what they are doing but still decide they want to do it the wrong way and get saved. Maxi literally needs to be saved. Her mental health needs so much recovery that it is astounding. We love a girl, who despite her circumstances, is still trying bc she sees hope. And that is what I'm here for.

Well for what I observe, most of us dont hate weak woman, we hate too stupid, too naive, too dense that it doesnt make any sense kind of woman, like most of older ver japanese shoujo. I love strong and smart fl the best, but I dont hate weak and slow fl, maxi’s adorable. I hope she can be happy very soon and regain her confidence.

preach to that. Maxi is written well but there are some woman who are so dense for no reason at all. They’ll throw themselves into dangers way and be two stupid to get themselves out so they have to be saved. But its overlooked cause they sacrificed themselves. Maxi is an adorable bean who just wants love and affection.

Trust me, I've been seeing it a lot, a normal girl appears to be the love interest in a shounen? Hate. A lot of it. Its not really on thjs site but on other sites. Well at the same time I feel like people have just gotten more toxic.
