im not so sure about your point about the alpha not wanting it when he said, “Don’t get in the way.” when he was punched. I mean, if somebody punched and kicked you that hard, wouldn’t you at least sober up even a little bit? I agree with your point tho about that omega not being responsible. But then again, there are cases that the omegas’ heat is irregular or some don’t have the money to buy pills and stuff and rape culture is so normalized in omegaverse. Also, I do not like the side couple. Yep yep, the doctor is a rapist.
oh i was thinking more about the parts where the alpha kept saying there’s no way hes interested in dohyun (like he was trying to resist his primal urges) or he cldnt snap out of his stupor cos of dohyun’s pheromones... i guess the biology part is iffy for omegaverse because it’s not real so i cant conclusively say that an alpha affected by an omega’s heat can snap out of it even after he got punched/kicked damn although i wld say it sucks to be an omega in a typical omegaverse sigh
I think about the heat thing it was because he let our his one remind when he was thinking abt him n cuz the other alpha was near re reacted and caused a thing similar to the heat or the fact that he was thinking about his alpha caused him to go in heat
yeah, true, too. the omegaverse stories i’ve read usually the alphas can snap out of it but we don’t really know the rules about this specific omegaverse. i think it’s important to establish this type of world first (because every author has its own twists about the omegaverse). i do still agree that the omega is not being as responsible.
im a bit like uncertain when it comes to the omegaverse... it seems to me that the whole incident was also against the will of the alpha who attacked doyun...? it made me think like if an omega (like doyun) is irresponsible and does not track his heat/releases his pheromones around an alpha and the alpha cannot resist it, is it rape? im like torn but i also dont want to victim blame☠
also i dont know what to feel about the side couple. i like their design n interactions but i dont like that the doctor slept with the brother when he was obviously drunk out of his mind... thats considered rape irl
