He erased Rizu's memories of Tatsumi not bc he didn't want her to suffer anymore but bc he wanted to take his place. He agreed to doing this. Not only that; but he also doesn't care about anyone but himself and Rizu's wellbeing. Extremely rude to Tatsumi. Blocked every chance of love in Rizu's life- not to protect her like she did to Satou but bc he is a manipulative person. I don't think he grew as a character throughout the series. (Some points for originality). These are all the reasons why that I can think at the top of my head that I don't like his personality or as a character.

I don’t know why y’all hate Souta but I like him. I feel like he went through a lot of sacrifice to change himself for Rizu and yes he may have done some bad things but that’s life. I’m glad that now Rizu and Souta are together
