She basically forced the relationship to happen a lot faster that it should have. He was 12 and she was 13. He wanted to take it slow but because she’s such an insecure spoiled brat who couldnt take no for an answer she insulted him and poked at his insecurities prompting him to accept her love for him despite his reservations and proceeded to speed things up in an abnormal way. He lets her get away with it because he he has affections for her and he’s stupid. A 50 yr old king gets played by a 12 yr old spoiler brat? The novel makes art stupid and childish and brainless. Ohh. I really REALLY HATE TESS. She reminds me of Sakura only she has white hair.
He does like her but i dnt like how she forced the relationship. She confessed when she turned 13 and basically forces a kiss on Art while he was paralyzed because she couldnt take NO for an answer and idk why ppl who read the novel ship him and the elf. The human princess is 500x better.

I sincerely hope the manga strays FAR from the novel because the Novel started becoming trash after the elf Gurl Tess basically forces Arthur into having feelings for her like a spoiled brat. I couldnt read anymore after the 130 something chapter
