He just found out that he was an abused child, possibly being abandoned by his mom and sis (in his belief at least), plus the one who "killed" him is his own father and NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE, found out he's dead, in addition to being abandoned by Yato. As a super vulnerable teenager, what do expect? That he can still thinking rationally and push all those thing aside? With all these thing being revealed all at once, of course he would be manipulated easily.
