It means they start translating a manwha that another group is already translating without the groups’ permission.
They must’ve FINALLY gotten some people who can actually translate. When I saw their name at the top of the chapter, I thought, great....another story ruined. But I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve already dropped two stories because their translations were absolute nonsense. They’ve always sniped from great translating groups and made chapters into garbage. Hopefully this will continue. I’m not getting my hopes up yet though.
Not too long ago, s2manga sniped “The Monster Duchess and The Contract Princess” (I wouldn’t be surprised if they had sniped other translations, this is just one I had witnessed.) the translation was so shitty that mangago had to take down the chapters that s2manga “translated” because it was sniped, people could not understand the translation, and they also chose a font that was not easy on the eyes so people had a difficulty reading the chapters. They are known for not giving good translations. The translation of this chapter was not bad, and it was quite understandable and didn’t seem as MTL as their usual “translations” which I honestly doubt is done by real people, but that is why people are/would complain about s2manga.
Compared to their other translations, this chapter is top quality. So I don’t think people should complain much.
