I think the fact that jihwa has shortish hair is just because his hair is a little curly that's why it looks kinda short ( and maybe the creator thought it would suite how the character looks if he had shortish hair which it does )
And about nakyum having short hair i think nobody could care less if he cut his hair or not because he is a " low born " ( also it suits him well .... I can't imagine him with long hair )
Also i don't think that the creator ( is / should )follow rules of a certain time period because this is a manga after all they could change whatever they see fits well with the story
Can someone plz explain the first part where jihwa have short hair ..... That better not be something from the future cuz they were all like how could the lord accept you back
