yeah that line sounds forced and unnatural af. the mangaka is trying to create some kind of angst but it's so forced

It completely ruined the entire flow of what was going on which FINALLY made some good progress. It feels like all that progress went to shit because of that one line.

If somebody is hurting, they would say "It hurts" or "It hurts as fuck", not "I dOnt wAnT tHiS". Unnatural af

You’ve never said “I don’t wanna do this”? It’s not like I don’t wanna do it but I need some time to prepare myself. At that point I need my partner to reassure me because I’m scared af. Nothing is perfect. I would just talk it out. She did say after to go slow.

Nope, not in that situation, in an immediate reaction to pain. It's obviously a clumsy tactic to cause misunderstanding and angst. I've read numerous first-time sex scenes, if the receiver feels painful, he or she would say "it hurts", an attempt for angst would most probably be "pls stop".

I honestly think it was written that way to make it a large misunderstanding that’s believable but it’s her first time, she’s gonna be uncomfortable and wanna crawl away. I know I did. Either way after that panel she did say for him to slow down but the mood was disturbed already. Anyways, first time sucks, so does the second ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yeah i'm not getting annoyed at the fact that she felt painful thats only natural for your first time. It's just that the way the author forced the story to go that way using that unnatural line after huge progress is kinda frustrating...

Feeling pain wasn’t the issue, it’s the way it was conveyed. Like someone said earlier, it was VERY unnatural
