The Demon King that went missing is still alive so he can't be a reincarnation, I'm pretty sure they just made him similar to the previous Demon King because that shows how he's suitable for the throne ^^
I think the actual demon king went missing because he got trapped in Iruma's ring. Yeah, that demon allowed Iruma to go through his evil cycle, and he was also asked before by Iruma why he knows so much and who he was before, but he chose to avoid the subject which may actually be him hiding that he's the demon king. I hope I'm right haha but I wanna know how the heck he got stuck in that ring in the first place.

Hmmm.. As I can remember, the ring that iruma is wearing used be the Demon King's ring.. So I'm guessing that
he either somehow got stuck in the ring, or
the guy in the ring is someone so was close with the demon king, or
maybe the guy in the ring got stuck inside the ring when the demon king lost the ring

Maybe the guy in the ring is made from the missing Demon Kings power, like, it built up over-time as he wore it and created a new being, or maybe it was something like he was created when the ring was created, y'know like when some weapons are made in novels or manga by famous blacksmiths and they end up having a soul
