But then again Yustav only lived with them (her, her mom, and their brother) for a little while. When their brother was still a baby, Yustav was sent away, years past, and now their parents and brother are dead. I can see why he wouldn't view her as family. It's more like they briefly lived with each other when they were younger. He didn't even get the chance to connect with his little brother. :'(
Does it really have to matter? Like isn't the important thing that the two of them like each other and have a healthy relationship? Their parents are dead like the child they had so for now it's like you have a neighbor whose parents where close to yours

from what i understand, their parents got married so they are siblings on paper but what also happens is that their parents have a child together so... technically they are somewhat siblings still, no matter if they dont view each other as such and didnt grow up together. Now its not exactly incest cuz they arent related to blood but they did have a close relation to one another due to their parents... i honestly dont know how to make of this. the situation is weird and shit, like it be different if the parents didnt have a child together but... they did... idk yall like imma read it but im just not going to support the romance really
