Akihito never went to the hospital - but the man who shot Sudou was sneaking into the hospital to finish the job - Sakazaki stole Sudou from the hospital to protect him. And the chapters are coming out every two months - which is how often the magazine is published.
I think you were confusing Sudou with Akihito.
