Well its not like everyone can be perfect and every people has its own different personalities that makes us do things other way around, express our feelings differently, think differently, making decisions differently and viewing things what is right or wrong differently even if we think he's doing something wrong in our eyes/surface but he is actually doing the right thing in his own way. Don't expect every person will always be in the same side, because not all people can do the same thing like u are good at drawing and I can't or I'm bad at it but no matter how bad I am that doesn't mean I can't do it but I'm going to have to do it on my own way instead of doing it your way. Also, we all didn't grew up in the same environments like families, that can cause us be different to other people who grew up happily or not. So my point is everyone has its own way of doing things even if its bad in the eyes of the other but it was actually for a good thing, just like the ML here he might be cruel or cold to you but think about look at it in diffrent way too, and how his life been since he was a child that he turns out to be like that. That's why we are all different so we can tell to each other what is good and bad, but we just have to accept it sometimes that's how he/she is that doesn't mean either that they can't change and it is also why people given a chances again to start. If we are all the same personalities, point of view, and other things then how are we supposed to know who is right or wrong, what's best or not, and etc. You can't force people to have the same beliefs either like even if we're a kid that has a same beliefes but that doesn't mean he can still have the beliefes as time goes by. I don't like doing things or arguing like this, when I only just commented my opinions, or theory. I only say those words because I don't really base my opinion or judging the characters in reality like come on this is fiction, everything in fiction can be possible that it's not even impossible in the reality, in fiction authors put things in the story that can never happen in reality and logic that its not even logical in reality. Oh my gosh! You're just way too stubborn like I said look at things differently not just on the surface, I never said killing people, using his brother and other stuff is a good thing. There's more than to that but you just look at the surface and not behind it. He does use his brother but his brother did something too by being carelessly talking bad about the emperor and easily trusting people knowing that they're inside the palace and the princess is the daughter favorable by the emperor, it may look like that he used his brother but I also think that it could be half of it is to teach him a lesson to being careful and to take responsibility of his mistake although it was a cruel thing, but that's how he is and he's more confident of the higher chance his brother won't be killed because of their connection.
