I understand where everyone is coming from on the "rape your brother" part. but if you were being threatened with your life, I think the most common thing that someone would do is to follow instructions. When your life is on the line, your first instinct is, "stay alive. don't die." I'm not saying that raping anyone, even more so any family members, is okay in any moderation or circumstance, but be grateful he didn't really do it. it would have been MUCH MUCH worse if he did. he was just trying to protect his brother. and even though rape is NOT the way to go, I think Mr. Murder didn't give them a lot of time to think about their options. it's very hard to describe the feeling though. it's either, both of you die, or none of you die but you have to go through some really tough shit. It's a really split and hard decision. the author did step a little over their bounds, but with plot and character development needed, I think an elaborate and serious situation was needed. it wasn't great, but it wasn't blood-gore-and-death terrible. still pretty bad, but not overpoweringly terrible. again, I am not saying that rape in any circumstance is okay. Do not think what you see in manga applies to real life. it doesn't. There's a line. Unfortunately, I don't like arguing so if you don't agree with my statement PLEASE keep scrolling. just wanted to get it out there.

i agree. people act like you should always make the correct decisions when under pressure but that it completely wrong. it's more often than not that you do the thing you believe will keep you alive. you act however you think will be in your best interest while being threatened. he didn't do anything wrong. even if he did (which would have been horrible) raping his brother (although i suppose the brother knew and understood so it wasn't completely rape at least) would be better than having his brother killed.

i admit it felt a little weird for the story overall. of course if the story was longer it might have felt more realistic and not so rushed, but for now at least it's understandable

It was realllly tough reading that part, I had a lot of mixed emotions because on one hand, I understand (you put my thoughts into words) but at the same time, I wish he could’ve done more to avoid doing it, like fighting back and giving his brother a chance to escape. But I digress—it didn’t happen and that’s all I’m grateful for :’(
