Girl he was DRUNK—they made his face flushed for the first time and it clear that he had drank ALL the bottles in front of him. There’s no way he wasn’t drunk. okay i went to review these chapters because I am all for holding characters accountable and won’t excuse their actions just because “i love them” but let me tell you right now you are REACHING.
firstly, jooin didn’t initiate any of that, there was no coercion either. if i had to say so it would be yahwi who had to coerce jooin again by using his past words against him.
this does not qualify as rape because yahwi was fully aware of his actions which is clearly displayed when he slaps jooin’s hand away. honestly it feels like you’re just looking for reasons to defend yahwi even if he’s a fucking rapist.
also, even if jooin did “rape” yahwi THAT DOESN’T MAKE ANYTHING YAHWI DID RIGHT.
First, lemme just preface this by saying that it absolutely does not justify Yahwi’s actions. I don’t like him at all, I was just pointing out that literally all the characters suck ass, and if you look at my original comment I say just that. The reason I commented is because it seems like you put a lot of love into Jooin when he’s just as bad as Yahwi.
Second, if you are drunk, you cannot consent period. There isn’t any argument about who initiated it or who didn’t because he was too drunk to be able to consent. Even if Yahwi remembered it and like slapped his hand away at that one point, that doesn’t suddenly give his ability to consent back, especially when you consider the emotional state he was in at the time. He cannot be held responsible for his actions at the time considering Jooin was the only one with a stable mind at the time
He def has more alcohol tolerance than Jooin, but he had drank like 5 cans of beer, an entire bottle of wine and was working through another bottle of wine on top of what looked like a bottle of whiskey. He was drunk. Jooin raped him.
Once again, I dislike all the characters enough that if in the next 2 chapters nothing happens I’m going to drop this, but it’s hypocritical and two faced to say that Yahwi wasn’t raped and Jooin was when they were under similar circumstances and thus should both be held to the same standards.
