Well, I saw Cain in chapter 30 or 31 raws so he'll appear again very soon (more directly as a rival), and the author said this season will focus on Jooin and Cain's relationship given that the first season was more focused on Yahwi, and te third one will be the conclusion of course
I wonder when Cain will actually be a love rival? He's kinda just...there, for now. I'm looking forward to seeing him more in the story
