Fiction does not affect Reality.
It is up to the person to know what is right from wrong.
It is not fiction's responsibility to teach what is right from what is wrong.
They have been movies on fighting, violence/gun violence, villain-protagonists, murder, etc, and their only intention is to tell a story. Not to teach what is right from wrong. This is fiction. Just because someone writes a fiction on elves with tentacles for feet doesn't mean elves with tentacles for feet will manifest in real life.
Cp doesn't apply to lines and colours. Cp applies to real life children who have been s**ually abused.
It is insulting to equate the real abuse of real children to lines and colours.

Then why do people assume because you read yaoi you fetiize gay men? From what you are stating fiction doesn't affect reality yet the yaoi and yuri communities are being accused of fetizing gay men. They have stated when we say its fiction and only fiction that "fiction affects reality". An from what i know about cp is that it doesn't matter if its real or not its still wrong to read, write, or watch cp.

You're talking about real life people making an assumption in response to what a real life person does. All of that is grounded in reality. Ppl are ignorant and always make assumptions about other people. In reality, there's large percentage of LGBTQ+ people reading yaoi and yuri. Generalizing the community as something that objectifies/fetishize men is just a ploy homophobes/zenophobes use to discredit LGBTQ+ ppl and stories that feature them.
If you're using "then why do ppl assume that ppl who read yaoi and yuri are fetishizing gays/lesbians?" as an example of fiction affecting reality, this is not true. If fiction really affected reality in that case, they'd be a steep rise in LGBTQ+ s**ual abuse.
Cp is wrong. Obviously. However, what I've read from victims of cp, they find it insulting that their pain is being compared to lines and colours. Their pain matters MORE than lines and colours. Stop equating their experiences to lines and colours. Stop normalizing that a fictional character, that doesn't even exist in real life, has equal significance to a real person with real life experiences.

Nobody has the power to control what ppl can and cannot write, and nobody is forcing you to read what you don't want to. Game of thrones has incest, and they're more than 10 million ppl watching game of thrones. Does that mean 10 million ppl are going to be incestuous? No. Because ppl can decide for themselves what is right and from what is wrong. For ppl who dont want to watch incest, do you see them trying to discontinue the author from writing incest? No. Because ppl can decide for themselves what they dont want to subject themselves to. If you dont like taboo stories, it is your responsibility to protect yourself and avoid it.
Fiction allows creators to create taboo, compelling stories by exploring taboo/fucked up concepts like murder (literally any movie), cannibalism (Hannibal, Pupa), incest (game of thrones), villain-protagonists (joker), WITHOUT PUTTING REAL PEOPLE IN HARM.
What i am saying is that, when compared to real life, fiction has no value. Real life will always have more significance than fiction, because fiction has no significance.

Just like how cp is bad, murder is bad. And since you like to imply that fiction has equal importance to reality: the author of demon slayer kills off most of Tanjiro's family. Are you going to sue the arthur for murdering fictional characters? No. You're not. Because "murder" is wrong only if it's in reality. Ppl can write whatever they want in fiction.

╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭idk, ppl just like to do whatever they want to. It's weird but, you gotta protect yourself so you won't encounter unpleasant things. I really wished mangago had a proper tagging system, especially more so since a lot of mangas on mangago feature rapist to lovers tropes. It's unfortunate that ppl end up reading things they're uncomfortable with when it could've been avoided if they was a big red sign.
This seems like cp, cause they still in school, i might have to take a break from Bnha fanfics again ( ̄へ ̄)
