I agree. Sure he seems manipulative at times but he really seems to like Dojun even though he can tell he's seriously gun shy about relationships so he pressing him abit. I also think the Doc realizes what's really bothering Dojun, he'll be the perfect person to deal with Dojun jackass of a brother
