There indeed is, my friend had a similar relationship. (Minous the vampire and stuff lol). He thought that if i wasnt there they would have lived a happy life together lol.

I think it's not impossible that there are people like this irl. I can't recommend you anything but try searching/watching about an obsessed person or obsessive love.
This type of mentality is real. It’s the reason why some people get murdered actually. There have been many stories of people- including children- getting kidnapped all because the perpetrator felt like they owned them. And people with this mentality often times murder the individual they are obsessed with because they feel like if THEY can’t have them, then nobody should (I know it sounds kind of cliche, but that’s legit how they think)
I strongly recommend looking at some True Crime documentaries and stuff. You see criminals with this mindset everywhere.
I remember how a few years ago, at my local high school, there was a boy who got bullied by a lot of students but this one girl was nice to him... so he kidnapped her because he felt that they “belonged together”. He thought her kindness was her way of saying she was his for some reason. It was wild.
