It was more about them being business partners than real feelings at this point.

Like she is completely done with that man. She is not only disgusted by his behaviour towards her and Haesoo but she is even disturbed how he wants to direct his own son's life like some puppet (and that he doesn't care about his son's opinion, he didn't contact Joowon first but his agency).
What's more Haesoo's mum finally starts to see that maybe she was also in the wrong.
So it doesn't look like they will remarry in the end.

i really dont know who i want haesoo to end up with, both relationships will be toxic. taku like haesoo only for sexual purposes and even though joowon truly loves haesoo their past is horrible and plus they're step brothers. I feel like even if there is positive character development in either or both characters my opinion will not change because the past cannot change. I feel like the best way for this story to end is either haesoo not ending up with anyone or ending up with a new character
