Well, i usually just post my stories on Wattpad, but one day I received a message telling me an author liaison from webnovel wanted to publicize my story on their platform- I didn't believe them originally because that was just cray, but looking into it, it appeared legit- so I emailed them and started talking while doing some investigating.
I'm interested cause, well, making money out of a hobby seemed insane to me, but the term of contract is writing a certain set of words a month, but it's a very high quota and I'm a VERY lazy procrastinator, so that was a huge no-no.
The other problem is that i heard their copyright policies aren't the best, but I mean, I have it with copyright on my Wattpad account so hopefully (?) If an issue ever arrived, I'd be able to settle it through them or something. Plus, I'm and amateur, so the possibility of someone doing it seems impossible, but still scary to think about.
Like, imagine someone taking all the credit for YOUR hard earned work by getting the popularity, love, and monetary rewards that should rightfully be yours. I'd die.

I belive you could settle copyright issue. Threatening with legal actions almost always works. Also I think that talking with Webnovel about this should work. Just tell them that you don't want to see someone else stealing your story and taking credit for It, ask them If they could do sth when such a situation arises
This was kinda scary cause I got contacted a few weeks ago by webnovel and I want to accept but 1) the word count there is freaking scary and 2) i heard they don't care that much about copyright
