Your partner moaning your dad’s name is not something that you forget and it just taints the nice/pure image I had of them. I’m not a fan of stories where the romance starts because one of them is imagining/pretending their partner is someone else. I think this was completely unnecessary for the lovely story of them.
Relationships aren’t perfect and you have to remember where they are presently. In love and married. It’s sad that you feel that way
