Rin was a little child that believed him meeting his mom would make daddy and his lover sad, which probably did. Because for what I can remember she left them for another guy. But that's something the grownups would get used to if they love their child and learn that is important for the children to have a relationship with both of the parents be it the mother or the father. It was the fathers job to put his hatred aside and make that relationship possible as the adult and not put that pressure on the child. She doesn't have to be the one that has the custody of the child since she seems unstable for a place to live, but as someone who obviously shows that loves her child then yes. I don't think they author managed that part of the story well because that is something that would definitely affect Rin as a child growing up believing that he had to make the decision of not seeing her mom who loves him and he loves so that he can make his father happy who he also loves. In reality I actually think that is unacceptable. But then again this is a manga so they make anything possible I guess. That's why I said that is the only negative part that the author makes as something ok in this manga that I didn't like because I actually like the story and the relationship with the protagonist a lot :).

I totally agree with what you said netyuna! that was actually the part that made me cringe because in reality i didnt see the reason why rin had to cut all ties with his mum...but yea this is manga so the author kinda had the steering Wheel over that issue..
I looooove this manga so much, the only thing I didn't like that much is the fact that they put like normal that Rin said goodbye to mama for ever. For me that is not ok. He can love them all especially when he obviously loves his mother so much. Problems between couples should never put their children in the middle of it. So well yeah apart from that I loved the whole story :3.
