Ikr it didn’t sit right to me. But the dad is also at fault for only seeing his kids as business pawns and never loving them equally. So naturally the kids also became resentful and only thinking about themselves as well. I’d be resentful too If my dad only focused on the first born just cuz he/she is the first born and disregarded every other siblings no matter what the rules.
