The teacher's dead and even if he's alive he could say he's seduced and was colluding with the boy. Well, yeah that's what happened. So she's carrying the burden of being the victim and the real killer at the same time so it's really hard to speak up most especially when there's someone who helped here and took one of her burden. 3yrs is short, in my opinion, to get herself back to her feet so I think she just got into her comfort zone. The trauma of being a r@pe victim and the fear of the fact that she's the murderer is still fresh for someone who didn't ask for professional help. I'll just add this spoiler...
