Hi slr. Yes he lost all of his magic because he killed lucas so as a punishment they shatter his core but was replaced with a aether core which is more in body strengthening and protection. And his relationship with elijah.... umm I cant say for sure that theyll be friends again as they battled one another.

Elijah and Tess is related to arthurs past life, like elijah was arthur's past life's friend and Tess was elijah's post life's lover or love interest where arthur killed her for a reason. Thats why in the current life, elijah regained his old memories making them enemies.

Ok so this what happened in their past lives.
(Past life arc)
Arthur, elijah and tess are best friends. Tess have feelings for arthur but ends up with elijah as she noticed that arthur became distant when he discovered tess' feelings for him. She and elijah became engaged, but she was killed by arthur in a tournament, witnessed by elijah making arthur his enemy.
(Current/present life arc)
The scene where lucas almost rape tess triggered elijah's past memories. This cause arthur and elijah's friendship destroyed as elijah's past live which is Nico, recognized Tess as Cecilia, tess' past live, and Arthur as his old best friend/enemy.
So yeah. Romance shit. Idk if Tess remembered her past life but maybe she regained it somewhere in the novel.
For me to drop this because Tess is coming and she will become more annoying and I hate it; not her but the drama that she will bring.
I read the novel but couldn't go on; too fucking annoying. My heart and brain couldn't stand it..
Someone told me if I can ignore her (and her acts), it's still worth to read. But, heck no, I came here for the Adventure, the Fantasy and such. I'll go to Romance/Shoujo tag if I want some dramas. Why bother to merge them and destroy the cool plot?? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
