so far of my understanding, the prince keeps sending gifts because he likes her and probably wants her to become the empress, even though she turned it down. she started to ask for the help of the red and green haired people (imperialistic faction) because i think she found something out or is planning something against the aristocrats and jieun. and about allendis i have no clue because i havent read the novel either, but according to his father, it suggests that he might come back to help her? idk that's just my speculation

For the prince and the gifts, I don't understand the logic of keep pursuing her even though she declined to be empress. I get that he is in love with her, but how will that work if she is no longer a candidate? Like, what are the rules for the emperor to marry or have a "girlfriend" or whatever?
And what is she exactly asking for help about? I get that red and green people are on her side, but in those chapter I didn't understand what is she specifically asking for (a sword for what and why not get it herself or through her father, and absolutely no idea for the information she's asking from the green people, some evidence of corruption in the little black-haired bitch faction?)
I don't know what's going on, someone care to explain? If she isn't a candidate anymore, why is he sending gifts with crowns? and what is she asking for to the red-haired people and the green-haired people? and what happen with shady green person?
