I may come off weird but I am just confused.

Is Artezia and Cedric in any way, relatives or related by blood? Like in maternal or paternal, siblings or cousins way, half-siblings or half-cousins way, you get the gist, or are they not? The Emperor’s wordings are confusing the heck out of me. And that one chapter citizens have been saying “Not only is he manly, He’s also family-oriented” that is also one of the reasons I’m concerned with.

no, so the emperor's son is Artezia's half-brother, Cedric is the nephew of the Empress (the one who contains the imperial blood) so he's got a right to the throne

family-oriented means that he will be a good husband who can takes care of his family, not that he's related to Artezia as her family or anything
