I think the reason banri rejected rei is because he likes her but he wants kazusa and rei to be together, and because he doesn't want rei to get hurt. I mean the whole reason he was flirting with other girls where rei could see it was because he likes her. Sorry this is just my personal opinion.
It's obvious that Banri has a feelings for rei ..so I wonder why did he reject her..
Anyway,im fine with it if whoever REI chooses.. banri and kazusa are damn hot..
