Don't forget in Korea the idols usually don't have control of their money either. Their manager does and they give them small allowances

Ya those starting days were tough. I am bit biased about them so I do believe that bighit should be paying them more than what they are doing right now. No offense to other artists but they are basically running the whole company!
They own company stocks and have their own exclusive debit cards, they regularly shop when they feel like it and their family have renegotiated their new contracts. Add that they personally hang out with CEO and call him uncle I'm sure it's fine. Plus how many idols are free to post their own songs with little to know censorship and actually have legal actions to protect the idols. Now I think bts is a special case especially when you hear about lisa and got7 and i dont think after bts, bighit will be the same though their motto is artist and healing. I will say that after bts and with more international markets, more freedoms are being enjoyed by artists and companies dont have to focus on obsessive and unhealthy fans
The more I read the more I realize how scary some fans can be. I do pity celebrities sometimes. With all that money and talent, they still can't do anything to these delusional so called fans!
