I'll be cheering you on future colleague! Be strong, but dont forget about your mental health once you get in there. If u feel like taking a break, go for it. I have friends who took a year off from med school due to severe stress or depression, so yeah, dont neglect your mental health :)
And here's a tip, since you are almost done with your pre med, you can start reading some books in Medicine so you wont feel overwhelmed once start the actual course. I recommend you start with Physiology (Guyton [I prefer this one] or Berne and Levy) and Anatomy (Snell, then study it with Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy) since these two, for me, are critical subjects.
