HA! What made me think of it in the first place was my 9 y/o daughter and I were talking about movies and she brought up how she watched the original The Witches and the remake and I had to google the original and show her pictures to make sure we were on the same page. One thing led to another and we ended up watching that clip of the Time Warp Dance on YouTube. We watched the Jack Black rendition first only because he’s straight hilarious — then the original. She’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to young for the movie (shit, I wasn’t even born when it was made) but the clip was ok for my standards. Lol!
Haha! You gotta love kids, seriously. Jack black is amazing, seriously. He is the same, personality wise, as he was when I was younger. He’s a genuine cool dude, someone who doesn’t hide his personality. But the clip itself is FUN! It’s got so much going on in it, how’d she react to seeing the actual clip?
She thought it was hilarious!! I told her she couldn’t watch the movie but she really enjoyed the clip and recognized Tim Curry (my absolute fave) from other movies too. We had a good time bonding over movies and the other night.
