I 100% agree with you.
He did seem a bit pushy about the marriage and it was kinda against her will but I think he just really loves her. Although there were times when I was like “just give up and accept this handsome blonde!” I can understand why the FL didn’t want to because she was traumatized from her past.
They should just take things a bit more slowly and get to know each other better so that they can understand each other’s situations and feelings better.

Well I think the Duke believe that we should do something before things change. He might be thinking that he needs to marry the repley quickly so that someone else won't take her away and he does not losses away .
Comeon you guys , I know that repley had a bad past because of which she is doing this but If you ask me ,Duke's past is also hell . I mean Compared to repley's past ,I finded his past more bad and today whatever he is doing, he is doing so that the one hope he has gotten to make his future bright does not go away . I mean who wouldn't take a chance like that . Yeah but he is being a little too early for putting a marriage thing like that . But Now he agreed for the engagement so think now repley should also agree . After engagement, they could get to know each other well

Ya I can understand both parts and their perspectives. But then once again, it’s only a manga so I shouldn’t get too much into it. It’s only fictional but I always end up thinking too much.
Anyways, if they both end up happy (which they probably will), I don’t really mind what happens.
I'm trying to look at both perspectives of the situation with with ripley and the duke. I didnt think she'd go to that extent and it's kind of annoying but at the same time I understand why she's acting that way because of her past.
the duke doesnt even have any relation to her friend but she might be really traumatized from what happened to her (I mean who wouldnt?)
also the duke was a little pushy about the marriage thing because they took each other's first night and saying he'd kill her (i mean it was played out in a more joking way but killing someone is pretty serious)
