People would find ANY suffering by their loved ones upsetting. Manga or not: To suggest that this scenario involving Asami would be "funny" in any way? That's simply a sign of bad taste. Because manyn of us have had loved ones in the hospital and/or saw them die there. Such a scenario, Manga or not, triggers very happy vibes and memories in most people. That's why it's insensitive and considered "not funny". Sorry, old girl, but that's just how it is.

Hmm-I kind of followed this conversation - I think that the reaction is that the original poster implied that it would be FUNNY if Asami was shot in the head ... at least that is how it sounds - perhaps s/he meant just getting a bump on the head? (but Love Stage was hypnosis - not a bump on the head or being shot ...)

Well it does seem to be the case now that I read the first couple comments xD.
I thought for sure she meant to say "cogné sur la tête". Bumped on the head would've been a better wording if that's what she meant to say. I would see why she'd mistakenly use "hit". I myself even had to check if you'd use "bump" in this case in English, I would probably have said "hit on the head" lol.
It also just makes more sense to get amnesia from that.

Could be - the second person to post a comment made reference to being shot in the head - as in bullet ... and thus perhaps some misunderstandings arose ... that is my thought. Then things seemed to escalate.
