Nah... school usually not that useful to learn English...
I have English throughout my 12 years of school. But doesn’t help much in improving my English at all.
I learned more by playing foreign games, barbie movies, reading mangas in English, plus found an English course outside school which taught by very good English teacher.
Compared to the English teachers in my school who were so so bad at teaching.... that I can guarantee 80% student who graduated my high school cannot speak English at all....

At school I only learned what cat and dog is (and some other things that doesn't make any sense for me lol)
