MC will end up with Lucius, but I hate him anyways because his actions will ruin Chance life. I think the tittle "Someone's gotta give." means that only one of them can be happy, and his wish robbed Chance of that. Even Chance personality will change because of his wish and actions. MC's actions will lead to Chance being miserable.
Ah thank god I wanted the mc to end up with Lucius, its not the mc’s fault because he was miserable before Chance once in his past, he had given up on Chance now Chance has to give up just like the mc did. You know what I mean?
The MC chose to gave up on Chance in the first time line, so in a way it is his fault, Chance didn't even know MC's feeling toward him. I get what you mean but that is not the case, in the current time line, it is because of MC's wish and action messing up with Chance emotions and personality, Chance will end up miserable. I have nothing against MC ending up with Lucius, originally I am rooting for them but the way I see it, MC out of the sudden will treat Chance like a shit, similar to what he's doing now under the disguise that it is for Chance and Lucy's future. The author will deliberately make chance a bad guy in an absurd way.
In the end, because of MC's wish he will destroy Chance and Lucy himself. I hate him because his actions are selfish.
