Although I see you are not accepting criticism lol I'm disagreeing with you haha. Haesoo has always love Joowon and vice versa, from the very start. It so obvious that I can't understand how some people don't see this. Haesoo didn't realize he loves Joowon, he realizes it's hurting more than he thought to lose this part of him. They didn't break-up 1 year ago, it was a month ago.
The point of Taku is that he was the first partner he didn't use to hurt Joowon, he presented himself as a character who never asks questions and always seems to have an answer to the problems that Haesoo has been carrying for years (and that's not because he is a prince, he almost study him based on his stories). Haesoo took his offer and in the end, he grabbed him darling but he didn't fall in love and that's... Fine lol.
After breaking things with Joowon, he didn't want to use Taku again since he is no longer a stranger. Haesoo wanted to be by himself. Nonetheless, Taku became extremely desperate to be in a relationship with him since he wanted to be special, fill the void inside Haesoo and push Joowon aside, so he prioritizes his wishes over his supposedly loved one. Taku is no way near to be the answer to break away from the toxicity, they were basically forcing the relationship to work out like wtf.

And Joowon realizes more than he has to deal with the consequences of his problems: Joowon admits that he was a coward and that many of his motives were excuses. Joowon realizes that he was always selfish and probably wasn't there when Haesoo needed him. He showed that he doesn't hold a grudge against him and will support him correctly this time. Joowon acknowledges that he forced his selfish feelings on Haesoo and that he was stupid to think he would not leave, that he was wrong to blame someone for having doubts. Joowon condemns his self-centeredness and attitudes that I had during his relationship-- I mean, that's a lot.
(I admit that this season has been somewhat meh in comparison, but in my opinion, since the end of the second season I was already feeling the plot somewhat elongated with the stalker and marriage and another relationship blah blah blah. All alone. The End.)

WAIT I THOUGHT YOUR TAKU POINT WAS RIGHT BUT ITS ACTUALLY WRONG. AT FIRST HAESOO DID USE TAKU TO HIS ADVANTAGE IN ORDER TO PROVOKE JOWOON I WILL FIND RECEIPTS IN THE MORNING I LITERALLY EXPLICITLY REMEMBER THIS
i do agree they are forcing this relationship but i do believe that taku truly loves him. also even if haesoo “loved” jowoon and vice versa it wasn’t fucking healthy they would just manipulate and antagonize one another and it was fucking annoying to watch lol.
also, they were never in a real relationship just fuck buddies so they never officially “broke up” because they never went out together
this is why i am not taking criticism (sorry if i sound like a bitch i am purely joking i dont get into serious arguments ab fictional characters for real unless it’s like r*pe or something like that)

yeah but don’t we all learn there are consequences to every action when we’re like fucking 5 why tf did it take him 20 fucking years to learn that shit.
also agree this season was aggy as hell they all just need to break apart from one another or have a threesome both would be sexy. one would be sexy for their mental health and the other would be sexy in general

HAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS FREAKING COMMENT THIS COMMENT Double prize.
Yeah but... Joowon was never the mature guy who will lecture you about morals and peace for the world, he was a childish and traumatized dude who decided to be a jerk to protect himself. Like- Haesoo also had this tendency of avoiding the problem, both of them agreed with it so... Yikes. Let's not go there. It's night time.

WAIIIIIIT- THAT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS FEELING ALONE AND HE ALSO WAS HAVING FUN THAT HE SLEPT WITH OTHER DUDE WHILE TALKING SH!T ABOUT JOOWON BUT AT THE END HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING TO LET HIM KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. QUITE THE OPPOSITE, HE LIED TO HIM. I DO REMEMBER HAHAHA I was talking about afterward, Haesoo literally thought: "He said I can use him, so I got my fill"
I think Taku likes Haesoo, I don't think he loves him. Like- he doesn't even know? "I'm in love with you because you made me sad-" Ok, dude. With the other point, I agree that they were both equally insane, reason why they shouldn't go back. Since they were teenagers, Haesoo was the first one who admitted he liked to get Joowon made and jealous because he wanted to feel on top of the world with his reactions, and Joowon in the end grew a liking with this dynamic of not letting the other win to the point he made this a part of his personality. Ufff. They weren't fuck buddies, well Haesoo couldn't even tell what they were since it was so ambiguous:

In this season he still questions what they were.
And they were in love at some point. Haesoo thought about it even when he was leaving him: "I never told him that I loved him-" Makes sense since time and time again the story shows us that there was more with them than the unhealthy dynamic, Haesoo used to think they were everything to each other pls.
Hahaha don't worry, you don't sound like a bitch. We simply disagree, it's not that serious. At this point, I think we all want this to end to be free from this.
listen i have an opinion and i get to express that,
because WHAT THE FUCK what was the entire point of introducing taku? there literally wasn’t one. haesoo has had multiple partners sexual or otherwise but it took taku for him to realize his love? like what the fuck?
this was so good at the start because i thought that haesoo would be able to break away from the toxic game of cat and mouse that he and jowoon had continued to play for the last TEN FUCKING YEARS.
also i’m a huge fan of allowing people to change and grow but all jowoon learned is that THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES FOR ACTIONS?? ARE WE FUCKING 5 YEARS OLD THATS SUPPOSED TO BE ENOUGH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT????
to end things off on a positive note, this author’s art is so beautiful and unmatched, but their storybuilding and characterization could use some work imo
