Sorry to tell you but based on my research you're gonna hate this. The author deliberately made Chance a bad guy, but for me it is the MC who is a real shit in this story.
Childhood friend. He will be miserable because the wish altered his personality and because of MC's actions.
I always feel like this too. Like the MC becomes a shity in every situation or every chapter.
Yes and the way he treats Chance in the current time line like shit. Like why would you treat your best friend like that. Keeps blaming it to I don't want to experience what I have experience before so I'm gonna push you to Lucy and stuff. All MC's actions seems to be selfish, disguising it under the pretext that it is for Chance and Lucy's future but in the end he destroyed that future in the worst possible way.
But those thing shouldn't be happen in the present time line because he wished about him and Chance.
He just make everything so twisted.
does chance also get a happy ending? :'(
