i think so, since FL got that warning of not talking about his face... ML might got something more worse than FL to make him think that he himself ugly. For example the curse distort his eyes or something like that.... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
The family is I guess cursed by someone to make them think they are ugly.. That might be the route the story will go... To confront the one who cursed her husband
