No, it's just a story without any romance at all. Just a bit of bromance here and there but no love. Even in the novel, there's no romance at all. Cale just have his own harem of people caring and loving him, that's all. He's well protected and those around him acts super protective, possessive and would always worry about him even if he were to sneeze too hard by accident. The dragon was even more possessive and protective to the point it was cute, he love Cale so much that he would threaten to destroy a whole kingdom if Cale were to even cough up a little tiny bit of blood. You should read the Novel too, it's good and you'll understand a lot more since some of the details aren't being added in the manhwa
