i never said anything about the mc or claimed that he was a good guy. he’s a little screwed too because of the whole cheating thing. i don’t really understand how you’re comparing cheating to two near /rape/ experiences though or why you felt the need to bring him up. also, yes he had bad intentions, not denying that and he’s an asshole for it, but it was clear even at the beginning that she was the main one who had feelings considering he did reject her attempts at initiating sex and never said he liked her in the way she liked him, just redirected the conversation by saying she was someone special (general sense). with the whole sexually attracted thing, why would trying to force a sexual situation be the solution to your partner not being attracted to you in that way? that’s a situation where you either communicate because it’s making you anxious or leave if it really takes that much priority to you (which it shouldn’t imo but to each their own). they barely dated, there’s numerous of reasons why someone wouldn’t have wanted to screw that early on.
