I can't bring myself to hate any of the characters. It's just so interesting to see their motivations and how that leads to a curse that is so amazing - everyone doesn't get what they want. Then there are the two poor souls stuck in a situation created by their predecessors.
I can't wait to see how each one of them proceeds from this point on; how knowing what they do now affects them and their decisions moving forward. So excited!!!
Yes Oatmeal! Even though it isn’t accurate to the real mythology, I think the author is doing a great job in portraying these characters! It’s very similar to a Greek tragedy where no one leaves the story unscathed and everyone is unhappy.

Most definitely agreed! I like how Gods are sometimes portrayed as beings just as deplorable as man. (Pardon my agnostic views) but because they are invented by man, their depictions aren't exempt from the same mistakes we make. It's like looking into a mirror when viewing mythology.
