That sounds like it's just someones interpretation, if they were disappointed then that's on them. And I don't think she is annoying, matter of fact it was pretty satisfying who he ends up with.

I gave in and actually read the novel all the way to current in 3 days. That was a lot of reading. Now I kind of spoiled myself :(. But imma keep reading this manga. And trust when I say, this manga won't be ending anytime soon if they decide to keep making it. There is SOOOOOO much shit that goes down.
