IKR. It’s mostly cause most harems are made by a guy and it’s usually wish fulfillment sht(I’m not trying to make it a gender thing, I’m just saying) so the guy has like no personality. Like, if you’re gonna make a harem, can’t you at least cater to the girls who read the series by making the MC actually cool? That’s why I usually only ever read harem series where the mc doesn’t care about girls, it saves me a lot of trouble with being frustrated. (One of my favorites is called word master or something cause the mc only cares about books and good food)
