Is Gene's brother, Danny, the guy who was stopping Theo from leaving in the manga Rumspringa? I believe I recall something like that. Anyway, it was so good to see the characters from that manga to make a cameo here. This is really a bittersweet manga. I hope Gene and Trevor become happy in the end. But why do I sense a tragedy (not death, per se, but something connected) because Trevor in the present time only has the memories of the study room and the diary that his nephew Gene is reading.
