Thanks. I wanted to read this but now I won't. If there is one thing I can't stand in yaoi, it's cheaters. Cheaters who get forgiven and get no punishment even more. Seriously, how could anyone like a one-shot with such a plot?

Yup, I agree. I think I value too much the feelings of the main characters, so cheating brins me a sadness which can't be restored no matter how much the cheater does in order to be forgiven.

I think I could have lived with the ending if the stupid ahole had at the very least apologized for his cheating. I wouldn't have really liked it or agreed with it, but I could have lived with it. At the end of the story, neither one of them so much as brought the subject up, though. That, I can't stand. Without talking about their problems and without the seme acknowledging how much he hurt the uke, they will never have a healthy and trusting relationship. Of course, I would have dumped his ass the very first time it happened. That's exactly what I did when it did happen to me. Apparently, I'm not a very forgiving person.

It's sad to hear it happened to you. But you did the right thing, I would have done the same. Plus I agree that communication is a must in a relationship, it builds up trust :).
