Can somebody tell me why Avery cannot marry Albert if she received the title?

    i’m assuming cause bloodlines and shit. Since they are both major families, getting married would mean that both their families would have to merge into one. So if they have children, there will be a shit ton of confusion over who’s child will be the heir of which title. Ah i hope that makes sense

    No, it isn't because of that, its because if the heads of two noble families marry they could be a threat to the royal family

    wait why would they be a threat? Is it cause if the child is born than more people would support the child if they were to become the monarch? Oh yeah cause that would make sense

    Of course our two main characters aren't a threat, I suppose there's a law about it, it's not about them, everything is to avoid any threat that may occur

    albert and avery will both be heads of the house/family aka last names tecnicaly if avery gets married to albert she becomes apart of his houe and if he marrys her he has to become part of her house meaning two heads of houses cant marry unless there merging there house but that only happens very rarly and def not with two of the top houses

    No they pecisley made the law of not letting two noble families merge into one so the nobles would not be able to raise their power above the king. So no matter the title two heads of families can never marry. Only second or 3rd spouses can wed family heads. This was stated in the comic. (=・ω・=)
