And thank you for calling out on Haesoo's mom. Unlike you, I don't think the story is toxic, but her behaviour towards Haesoo and Joowon totally was! Why would you say "Do you want me to kill myself?" to two teenage boys who just fell in love? That made me really mad.

Lol this is really like in some relationships irl. We always have that one friend who always ask relationship advice to us complaining about their partner. Wether they should break up or not. You know that kind of drama. I honestly feel sad for Taku but I do like how realistic this story is. The art is pretty too.

I GUESS THAT THE MAIN PROBLEM IN THIS STORY IS THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS ESPECIALLY THE MAIN CHARACTERS. AND ALSO THE CASE OF BEING GAY... I LIKE THIS STORY EVEN THOUGH IT IS KINDA FRUSTRATING TO READ. THEIR PROBLEMS HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE SO IT IS WORTH READING.
ikr she was so irresponsible as a parent. haesoo already didn't have his dad but then she goes off and abandons him as well, just because she found out he was gay. the only thing she kept thinking about was how joowon's father would react if he found out about haesoo's relationship with joowon. and after finding out he actually didn't care, she then helplessly tries to mend her relationship with her son as if she was given a "go signal" to.
not only that, she NEVER supported haesoo with his dream of becoming a successful novelist. it was always joowon in the end. joowon who she called a "bad influence" when in reality she, a blood relative and the only family haesoo ever knew, couldn't even be a good influence to him herself.

HAESOO'S MOM IS THE MOST TOXIC PERSON IN THIS STORY (she does not want to admit it but it clearly shows on her actions how she hates her own son being gay and liking joowon)
AS FOR THE LOVE TRIANGLE, I KINDA HATE THAT HAESOO DECIDED TO BE WITH TAEKYUNG EVEN THOUGH HE STILL HAS FEELINGS FOR JOOWON. SO BASICALLY, HE IS JUST USING TAEKYUNG AS A REBOUND.
ON THE OTHER SIDE, IF HAESOO AND JOOWON WILL CHOOSE TO BECOME HONEST WITH EACH OTHER I GUESS THE END GAME WOULD BE THEM... AND TAEKYUNG IS BASICALLY JUST A SUPPORT CHARACTER. (so sad 'cause i am team taku tho)
ALL IN ALL, THE STORY ITSELF IS TOXIC... THE PLOT AND ALSO THE CHARACTERS ARE TOXIC TO THE POINT THAT IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING TO READ
HOWEVER, A BIG SALUTE TO THE AUTHOR OF THIS, 'CAUSE THEY SUCCESSFULLY MADE THE READERS FELT MIXED EMOTIONS- JUST PROVES HOW GOOD THE STORY LINE IS.
