I think hes spending all that money to buy back family heirlooms??

I get the impression that he is not “buying them back” but is “rescuing” them from “being wasted.” Apparently his grandfather taught him that even if they are antiques, they should still be used and that it is a sad thing when they aren’t.

His grandparents always want to collect all (well not all but most have connections with their ancestors or something) the China historic antiques that were lost or were sold/ taken by western during war or something.. but since his grandparents were already old so they couldn't achieve their dream so NianNian decided to achieve his grandparents dream.. after he managed to get all he open his own private museum and some were given to national museum(づ￣ ³￣)づ
