Maybe it's some trauma or mental illness. I don't think he deserves to be hated or judged so much because no one know the whole truth.

Well, he really did love his ex, I don't know how long their marriage lasted, but imagine how sad and tragic it is that you're someone that can attract anyone but the one you love, he tried to get affection from him but the ex didn't really care about him and also the pressure they may have put on him in order to have a baby and what not, I feel so sorry for him because I think that his status, and the fact of being a dominant omega didn't make his life easy in any way :(
